Growing from a small food pantry, to a key solution that serves 1,200 families (2,000 adults and 1,000 children, on average) per week. The Arlington Food Assistance Center never lacked vision. They have always operated with a clear understanding of their mission and how they serve the community. As Board Chair, Jim was able to lead AFAC through this explosive growth by creating a strategic plan based on this vision. Because of this leadership, AFAC purchased its building several years ago to support these families.
