Rising from insurance sales to insurance executive, and then to bank CEO, Jim Whelan became successful at guiding himself through strategic business choices. His process had a powerful, yet practical, effect on his success, and involved establishing his vision, identifying his strategic goals and focusing on the outcome. With time and renowned business achievements to prove this success, Jim founded the ProActive Corporation of America. He introduces this process to clients—emerging and growing organizations—and guides them to achieve their full potential by recognizing these things for themselves and their organization.

He graduated from Columbia University's Executive Management Program, Boston College (MBA), and Holy Cross (AB).
